About Norma Suckle
| Norma Suckle |
I have been sewing since I was 9 years old. I was in 4H, and took sewing in school. I made most of my clothes as a young adult and many of my children's clothing, and some home Decor items. When my children were young I made garments for other ladies, so I could stay home. The first thing I bought when I graduated from High School was a new sewing machine.I started quilting 5 years ago, about the same time I bought my 1st Bernina from SFTH. I knew when I sewed on a Bernina for the first time, it was the sewing machine for me. I love the creative process of making quilts, to me it is painting with fabric. My motto, "so many quilts, so little time". My favorite vacation, is my week at Quilt Camp in Flagstaff every summer. I belong to Arizona Quilt Guild and 3 Quilt Guilds and Clubs. The best part of being at Sew From the Heart, is all the wonderful, creative projects that our great customers bring in and share with us. It is like having Show & Tell every day. I have met some of my best sewing friends here. Keep Sewing Norma |
